Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GreaseFit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. You must be at least 16 years old to use this App.

Description of Service

GreaseFit is a fitness and nutrition tracking application that allows users to log workouts, track calories and macronutrients, scan food barcodes, plan meals, and manage shopping lists. The App is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GreaseFit to:

• •Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• •Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of GreaseFit, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of Greasy Apps and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App, such as recipes, meal logs, or workout data. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App. To be clear: this does not mean we will sell or share your content with third parties. It does mean, for example, that we can process your textual data (such as meal entries or preferences) to provide you with personalized suggestions and insights. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

No Warranty / "As Is"

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content or features. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

Third-Party Data and Content

The App may include data from third-party sources, such as food databases, barcode information, and nutritional data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any third-party data. Nutritional information, calorie counts, and ingredient lists may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for verifying any information that is critical to your health, including food allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions. We are not liable for any harm resulting from reliance on third-party data.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features

The App includes AI-powered features that are enabled by default to enhance your experience. You can choose to disable these features at any time in the App settings. AI systems, by their nature, may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected results (sometimes called "hallucinations"). We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or usefulness of any AI-generated content, including but not limited to meal suggestions, nutritional advice, or fitness recommendations. AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You are solely responsible for evaluating and acting upon any AI-generated suggestions. When AI features are enabled, your input may be processed by Anthropic (Claude) subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not liable for any harm, injury, or damages resulting from your reliance on AI-generated content.

No Guaranteed Results

We do not promise or guarantee any specific results from using the App, including but not limited to weight loss, muscle gain, improved fitness, or any other health outcomes. Results vary depending on individual factors such as diet, exercise, genetics, and consistency. The App is a tool to assist you in tracking your health journey, but success depends entirely on your own efforts and circumstances.

Health Disclaimer

GreaseFit is intended for informational and tracking purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any diet, exercise program, or making changes to your health routine. We are not responsible for any health decisions you make based on information provided by the App.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Greasy Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months prior to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Greasy Apps and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) any content you submit to the App. We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you.

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. This includes adding or removing features, changing functionality, or ending the service entirely. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App. We recommend regularly backing up any important data you store in the App.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
